Paris Saint-Germain right-back Dani Alves is keen to play in the Premier League before he retires, and is eyeing a move to Manchester City, according to reports in Italy.
The Brazilian veteran was close to moving to the Etihad after leaving Juventus in 2017 but turned down the Citizens in favour of PSG.
Supporters on Twitter say they would not welcome Alves in light of his previous snub:
He had his chance and he blew it.

Much may depend on manager Pep Guardiola who knows the 35-year-old well from his time at Barcelona. He managed the fullback for four years between 2008 and 2012 when they won three La Liga titles, two Spanish Cups and two Champions League trophies.
Still, with Kyle Walker and Danilo at his disposal, it is questionable whether there would be room for Alves in Guardiola’s squad. In addition, the fullback suffered knee ligament damage at the end of last season and has only recently recovered full fitness.
His age and recent injury record would suggest a deal would be unlikely, but we will have to wait until the summer to find out.
