Manchester City’s newest signing Ruben Dias impressed on his debut against Leeds last night despite the Citizens dropping two points at Elland Road.
The Portuguese international looked assured in possession whilst dealing well with the difficult conditions, and he could not be faulted for Rodrigo’s goal. Supporters on Twitter are very happy with what they have seen from the 23-year-old so far and they are hoping for more to come:
He is a leader.

I get the impression that it wont be long before he is rattling the cages of some of his team mates if we keep up with some of the shoddy play we are showing, new or not. He seems a serious character.

Considering Dias only had a couple of training sessions with his new teammates, the Portuguese international already looks the part. His budding partnership with Aymeric Laporte could provide the solid foundation that City need to get back into contention at the top of the table.
It is very difficult to judge a signing who has come from a team like Benfica, who are usually so dominant in their league, but the early signs suggest he has the attributes to be a success in the Premier League.
