‘He Wants Us’ ‘Hint, Hint’ ‘Man Is Desperate For City’ Fans Excited As 120M Summer Target Praises De Bruyne

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has lavished praise on Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports’ Gary Neville, the England captain was asked who would help him score more goals, and he went on to extol the Belgian playmaker’s qualities:

“When I watch De Bruyne play he’s a special, special player and some of the balls I see him put in for City are just a striker’s dream if I’m honest. He’s outstanding, you’ve seen him out, he’s an outstanding player with the ball, off the ball, pressing, but his delivery is as good as I’ve ever seen.”

It is believed that Kane does favour a move to City, above other interested parties, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. Fans on Twitter are, therefore, taking his comments on De Bruyne as an unsubtle hint that he wants to make the switch to the Etihad:

If reports are accurate that Kane could be signed for £120m then it is definitely something that the Citizens should seriously consider. Some supporters are right to argue that Erling Haaland may be the better option, considering his age, but Borussia Dortmund are determined to keep hold of the Norwegian, and may only sell for an extortionate price.

In contrast, Kane almost seems to be trying to manufacture a move to City, and with his goalscoring record, he would be hard to say ‘no’ to.
