‘He Won’t Win It’ ‘Tuchel For Sure, Not This Time’ City Fans React As Guardiola Is Handed Nomination

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is among the seven nominees for FIFA’s Best Men’s Coach. The Spaniard has been recognised for winning the Premier League, as well as reaching the Champions League final.

He will be going up against Chelsea’s Thomas Tuchel, former Bayern Munich and current Germany head coach Hansi Flick, Argentina’s Lionel Scaloni, Italy’s Roberto Mancini, Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone, and Antonio Conte.

Fans on Twitter were delighted that Guardiola has been nominated, although they feel that Tuchel may be favourite for the prize, having beaten City to the Champions League:

It must be said that Roberto Mancini, a former City manager, will also be in with a shout of winning the accolade. He was instrumental in helping Italy win the European Championships in the summer.

You can vote for Guardiola, and for Kevin De Bruyne (in the Best Player category), by heading over to FIFA’s website here.
