Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been carrying an injury, according to Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni. The forward was not included in the squad for his national team’s friendlies against Germany and Ecuador this week.
Explaining the 30-year-old’s absence, Scaloni revealed that Aguero has not been in full training with the Citizens recently but he is confident that he’ll back in his plans for the internationals in November:
“Sergio Aguero is not here because he’s been carrying a problem and has not been training 100 per cent with his club. Surely both will be here next month.”
Fans on Twitter are fearing the worst despite it only appearing to be a minor injury problem:

Manager Pep Guardiola will be keeping his fingers’ crossed that Aguero is available for City’s next match against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The Manchester club are already without the likes of Leroy Sane and Aymeric Laporte, and having another key player on the sidelines for any length of time would certainly not be ideal as they look to chase down Liverpool at the top of the table.
