Journalist Claims Brazilian Teenage ‘Phenomenon’ Is ‘In The Sights’ Of City, United And Liverpool

Palmeiras teenage sensation Endrick is being pursued by Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Flamengo, according to Yahoo Brasil reporter Jorge Nicola.

The journalist says the “phenomenon” is very much “in the sights” of the six clubs after scouts were left impressed by the 15-year-old:

Endrick has yet to make his first-team debut for Palmeiras but he has been performing well for their Under 20s, and City may feel they can snap him up before his profile gets even higher.

The Premier League champions have made a habit of picking up young Brazilian talent over the years, with the latest being Kayky who arrived from Fluminense for £9m in the summer.

Considering Endrick’s age and experience, though, he is unlikely to be ready to make an impact at senior level straight away. If he were to make the switch to the Etihad Stadium, he would be one for the future.
