Journalist Claims City Have ‘Approached’ Club About Signing German Teenage Prodigy

Manchester City have entered the battle to sign Rochdale winger Kwadwo Baah, according to the Daily Telegraph‘s Mike McGrath.

The journalist says the Citizens have approached Baah’s club about signing the German teenager this month, with a view to loaning the 18-year-old back to the League One side until the end of the season:

However, there has been some dispute over whether City have made the approach, while it is believed that Baah’s contract expires in the summer so he is free to leave in the summer anyway.

It has been reported that West Ham and Rangers are also interested in the winger, with both having already made contact about a move when the current campaign ends.

Rochdale are likely to be keener on receiving a fee for Baah so if City have made an offer to sign him before the transfer window closes tomorrow, they may accept the proposal.
