Journalist Claims City Star’s ‘Agents Are Flying To The UK’ As PL Rival Look To Seal 50M Transfer

Gabriel Jesus’s “agents are flying to the UK” in order to help seal the Manchester City forward’s move to Arsenal, according to the Evening Standard‘s Giuseppe Muro.

The journalist claims that, while the Citizens are still holding out for £50m to sell the Brazilian international, the Gunners are increasingly “confident” that an agreement over a transfer can be reached:

It remains to be seen whether the Gunners will make a satisfactory bid for Jesus. Their first offer (reported to be £30m) was way below City’s asking price.

There are other clubs interested in the 25-year-old, including Tottenham and Chelsea, but the general feeling is that the player has prioritised a move to the Emirates.

City may look to compromise somewhat on their £50m valuation, considering Jesus has just one year left on his contract, and it is expected that Arsenal could come back with a bid closer to the price tag which includes a number of add-ons.
