Manchester City have “opened talks” with Chelsea forward Jude Soonsup-Bell, according to the Evening Standard journalist Nizaar Kinsella.
The 18-year-old is out of contract in the summer and Kinsella claims that the Premier League champions are “keen” to “poach” the young striker from their rivals:
Chelsea risk losing two academy stars as Manchester City open talks with Soonsup-Bell.

Soonsup-Bell has already made his senior debut. He was handed a start by Thomas Tuchel in the 2-0 win over Brentford in the Carabao Cup last season, but he was substituted at half-time and hasn’t featured in a matchday squad since then.
The teenager’s performances for Chelsea’s Development Squad in Premier League 2 have also been rather underwhelming. He bagged just two goals in 19 appearances in the 2021/22 campaign, while he has scored just once in six matches so far this season.
However, Soonsup-Bell is still very young, and it looks as though City believe he could well develop into an excellent player in the not too distant future.
