Manchester City are not interested in signing either Joao Felix or Bruno Fernandes, according to reports in the local media.
Claims from Portugal have repeatedly linked the pair with a move to the Etihad but it is believed the Citizens won’t be signing any attacking players this summer.
Fans on Twitter had a mixed reaction to the news:
good to hear. we need a CDM and a CB, not other pos.

I’m sorry but I don’t believe you. A portuguese football commentator, a specialist I must say, by the name Rui Pedro Braz, has guaranteed that at least 3 clubs, including City and Utd, have offered to pay Felix’s release clause of 120m. And I believe him because he never fails.

It is said that City are only considering moves for a holding midfielder and a centre-back, with Rodri and Harry Maguire the club’s primary targets.
In Rodri’s case, the Premier League champions are prepared to pay the midfielder’s £62m release clause, but the player remains undecided on his future.
With Maguire, any deal is likely to prove extremely costly with Leicester now reportedly demanding up to £90m for the England international.
An added complication in a move for the centre-back is the fact that Manchester United are also interested in the player.
