Latest Manchester City Injury News: Club Handed Double Boost Ahead Of Arsenal Clash

Manchester City winger Leroy Sane is expected to be available to start when the Citizens face Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium next Wednesday night.

The German international has not played for the first team since sustaining a knee injury in the Community Shield final against Liverpool back in August last year.

However, Sane took a full part in a practice training game as City’s first team build up their fitness ahead of the clash against the Gunners.

As well as Sane, Aymeric Laporte was also involved, and he is now fully recovered from some muscle fatigue issues which prevented him from starting a number of games before the season was suspended.

With the two players both ready to start games, it means manager Pep Guardiola could well have a fully fit squad to choose from next week, which will be the first time he has had that luxury this season.
