Latest Manchester City Injury News: Updates On De Bruyne, Foden And Stones

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne missed the 5-0 win over Norwich at the weekend after a recurrence of an ankle injury.

The Belgian originally sustained the issue during the European Championships, but he did return to action against Tottenham on the opening day of the season.

Since then, though, he has had to sit out training ahead of the Norwich game, and he is now a major doubt for the match versus Arsenal at the Etihad this weekend.

Phil Foden is expected to be sidelined until the international break, having taken a while to recover from a foot injury he picked up whilst playing for England at the Euros last month.

John Stones has lacked match fitness since returning late for pre-season training but the 26-year-old is expected to be back in the squad for the clash against the Gunners.

Striker Liam Delap is still out of contention with a foot problem and there is currently no estimate on when he will return.
