Latest Manchester City Injury Report For The Week

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that John Stones will likely be missing when the Citizens face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium next Sunday.

The England international did not play against Tottenham due to a thigh strain, and he is expected to be out for up to ten days. Nicolas Otamendi could partner Aymeric Laporte in the centre of defence once again versus the Cherries.

Oleksandr Zinchenko was seen limping at the end of the draw against Spurs. The Ukrainian was forced to stay on as City had used their three substitutes. However, the player has since confirmed he was only suffering from cramp and should be ready to play this weekend.

Benjamin Mendy continues to be a concern. The Frenchman has still not featured in a matchday squad this season with his knee continuing to cause him problems.

Leroy Sane has undergone surgery on his ACL injury. He was expected to travel to Barcelona for the operation but the winger has taken the advice of the German national term and had surgery in Innsbruck, Austria, instead.
