Leicester V Manchester City: Team News, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says he is still uncertain over whether he will be able to field Ederson and Gabriel Jesus against Leicester tomorrow.

A FIFA ban has been enforced after Premier League clubs refused to release their Brazilian players for international duty but reports today indicate that English teams may defy the decision.

Guardiola has, however, confirmed that Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne are back in training. Aymeric Laporte (knock) is also expected to be available but Zak Steffen (virus) and Benjamin Mendy are ruled out.

Manchester City’s Predicted XI To Face Leicester:

Ederson, Walker, Stones, Dias, Cancelo, Bernardo Silva, Rodri, Gundogan, Gabriel Jesus, Torres, Sterling

Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers should have Ricardo and Ryan Bertrand back in contention to start. However, there are doubts over the fitness of Jonny Evans (foot) and Jannik Vestergaard (knee).

Wesley Fofana (broken leg), Nampalys Mendy (groin) and James Justin (knee) are all still on the treatment table, while Ayoze Perez is suspended.

Leicester City’s Predicted XI:

Schmeichel, Ricardo, Amartey, Soyuncu, Bertrand, Albrighton, Tielemans, Ndidi, Maddison, Barnes, Vardy

The bookies have made the away side the favourites with Betway pricing them at 8/13 for the win. A draw is 16/5 with William Hill while a Leicester victory is 5/1 at Betfair.

Predicted Score – 2-1 to Manchester City
