Leicester V Manchester City: Team News, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has raised doubts about Erling Haaland‘s fitness heading into Saturday’s game against Leicester.

The Norwegian had to be replaced at halftime in the 0-0 draw against Borussia Dortmund midweek due to illness and a foot injury, so it remains to be seen if he’ll be available for the trip to the King Power.

Joao Cancelo was also substituted in the second half on Tuesday, with Guardiola revealing that the Portuguese international had been unwell too. Kalvin Phillips (shoulder) and Kyle Walker (groin) remain out of contention:

Manchester City’s Predicted XI To Face Leicester:

Ederson, Stones, Akanji, Dias, Ake, De Bruyne, Rodri, Silva, Mahrez, Alvarez, Foden

Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers could welcome back Wilfred Ndidi (hamstring) who has returned to training, but Jonny Evans is still a doubt with a calf problem. Ryan Bertrand (knee) and Ricardo Pereira (Achilles) are long-term absentees.

Leicester’s Predicted XI:

Ward, Castagne, Amartey, Faes, Justin, Tielemans, Soumare, Dewsbury-Hall, Barnes, Maddison, Daka

The bookmakers have made City the heavy favourites with Betfred pricing them at 3/10 for the win. A draw is 11/2 with Bet 365 while a victory for the Foxes is 19/2 at BetVictor.

Predicted Score – 2-0 to City
