Liverpool V Manchester City: Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Manchester City may have lost to Paris Saint-Germain during the week but manager Pep Guardiola says he was happy with the performance in France.

After a convincing win over Chelsea last weekend as well, the Citizens should be in confident mood heading into another huge game against Liverpool this weekend.

Guardiola has confirmed that everyone is available for selection for the trip to Anfield, apart from Ilkay Gundogan (thigh) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (knock), with both expected to return after the international break.

Manchester City’s Predicted XI To Play Liverpool:

Ederson, Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo, Silva, Rodri, De Bruyne, Jesus, Foden, Grealish

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will be without Trent Alexander-Arnold (groin), Harvey Elliott (ankle), Thiago (calf) for the game on Sunday.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI:

Alisson, Milner, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Fabinho, Jones, Salah, Firmino, Mane

The bookies have made City the slight favourites with Betfair pricing them at 29/20 for the win. A draw is currently 13/5 with Betfred while a Liverpool victory is 2/1 at the same bookmaker.

Predicted Score – 1-1
