Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar could be available for between £70m and £80m this summer, according to reports.
Manchester City are one of the Premier League clubs that have been contacted about a potential deal for the Brazilian international.
While plenty of fans on Twitter admire Neymar as a player, there are many who are concerned about the player’s age and injury record:
I’m not opposed to it, Neymar is very entertaining and I’d love to see him in the prem

Needs to change his lifestyle/behaviors,to be fully focused on football and helping the team, then i can see the club signing him. Because Pep is known to be strict and wants everyone to be totally invested.

Great idea get a 31 year old with constant ankle injuries for £80m on what we can only assume £400k a week….

A number of other Premier League teams, such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have also reportedly been contacted about Neymar’s availability.
However, the big stumbling block to any deal will be the 31-year-old’s wage demands. He is earning over €1m a week at PSG, which is more than double City’s highest earner Kevin De Bruyne.
Combined with the fact that he may not fit into Pep Guardiola’s tactical plans, it seems very unlikely that City will get involved in any battle to sign the striker at the end of the season.
