Manchester City’s Latest Injury Report For The Week

John Stones

Manchester City pair John Stones and Fabian Delph have withdrawn from international duty due to injuries.

They had both been selected by England manager Gareth Southgate for the European Championship qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Montenegro.

Stones is, however, suffering with a groin strain he picked up in the 1-0 win over Bournemouth, while Delph remains sidelined with a knock.

The duo join an injury list that now totals eight players, with Nicolas Otamendi also having been pulled out of the Argentina squad due to an ankle problem.

The likes of Fernandinho (muscular), Kevin De Bruyne (knee) and Vincent Kompany (muscular) had already been ruled out of playing until after the international break.

Stones, De Bruyne and Fernandinho are expected to be fit to face Fulham on March 30th, with Benjamin Mendy (knee) also being lined up to make a comeback at Craven Cottage.

Claudio Bravo is still undergoing rehab on an Achilles injury that has sidelined him for most of the season.
