Manchester City are considering making a £90m offer for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, according to the Sun. The Citizens are said to be keen to steal a march on their rivals in order to snap up their former player.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are all believed to be interested in the 19-year-old, but City are ready to go in early with a strong bid for the midfielder.

Dortmund could well be open to selling up in the January transfer window as they look to fund their own signings. Sancho also hasn’t always been in manager Lucien Favre’s good books this season and it could hasten his departure from the Bundesliga side.

Considering City already have a number of wingers in Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez, Bernardo Silva and Leroy Sane, it would be surprising if the England international is a top priority.

However, the future of Sane is believed to be a key driver behind their interest in Sancho, with it being reported that Guardiola is very keen on signing the youngster if Sane returns to Germany.
