Manchester City Superstar Drops Transfer Hint In Recent Interview

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has dropped a hint regarding his transfer status according to journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, amid speculation regarding the 28-year-old’s future at the club.

In recent weeks, Silva has been linked with several internationally reputable clubs, such as Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG.

According to Romano, Silva said (speaking to Arab News): “It’s not the moment to talk about my future with three months left of the season, I’m very focused on Man City.”

“Links and speculation don’t affect me. I try my best and what happens, happens — we have many things to fight for.”

The Portuguese superstar currently seems happy at Manchester City and is happy to remain at the club – but he did not rule out a move elsewhere, either.

By his lofty standards, Bernardo Silva is experiencing a somewhat underwhelming season at Manchester City this year. So far, the former Monaco man has scored four goals and notched up five assists across 38 appearances in all competitions. This pales in comparison to the tally he accumulated last season, where he scored 13 goals and registered seven assists.

He has suffered from being used in several different positions, many of which are not natural to him, such as in the holding midfielder role. He has even been used as an inverted left-back in recent months – Guardiola has a penchant for fielding players out of position.
