Manchester City V Burnley: Match Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

After having their game against Arsenal postponed midweek, Manchester City will have few more days to prepare for the match versus Burnley this weekend.

It should allow Kevin De Bruyne more time to recover from a back injury that kept him out of the defeat to Manchester United last Sunday.

Leroy Sane is fit but it is up to manager Pep Guardiola to decide when he is reintroduced into first-team action. However, Aymeric Laporte is still sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Manchester City’s Predicted XI To Face Burnley:

Ederson, Walker, Fernandinho, Otamendi, Mendy, De Bruyne, Rodri, David Silva, Mahrez, Aguero, Jesus

Burnley boss Sean Dyche has four players out of contention for the game at the Etihad. Johann Berg Gudmundsson is still struggling with a calf problem, while Jay Rodriguez (knee), Ashley Barnes (groin) and Matt Lowton (knee) are all unavailable.

Burnley’s Predicted XI:

Pope, Bardsley, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, Hendrick, Westwood, Cork, McNeil, Wood, Vydra

The bookmakers have made City heavy favourites with Unibet pricing them at 1/6 for the win. A draw is 15/2 with Betfair while a Burnley victory is 21/1 at BetVictor.

Predicted Score – City to win 4-0
