Manchester City V Leicester: Team News, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Manchester City do have to negotiate their Carabao Cup tie against Oxford United tonight, and Pep Guardiola will be hoping to make it through to the semi-finals without any issues ahead of the crunch clash against Leicester on Saturday.

The Foxes will be heading into the match with a full week’s preparation, but they did surprisingly drop two points at home to Norwich City last time out. The Citizens will be looking to close the gap to one point between the two teams with victory over Brendan Rodgers’ side this weekend.

Sergio Aguero could well return against Leicester after recovering from a thigh injury. David Silva is also likely to be back after missing the game against Arsenal on Sunday. John Stones (hamstring), Leroy Sane and Aymeric Laporte (both knee) all remain unavailable.

Manchester City’s Predicted XI To Face Leicester:

Ederson, Walker, Otamendi, Fernandinho, Mendy, Gundogan, Rodri, David Silva, De Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus, Sterling

Leicester have just one fitness concern at the moment with Matthew James still trying to recover from a major Achilles injury.

Leicester’s Predicted XI:

Schmeichel, Ricardo, Evans, Soyuncu, Chilwell, Tielemans, Maddison, Ndidi, Iheanacho, Vardy, Barnes

The bookies have City as favourites for the three points with Coral pricing them at 2/5. A draw is 9/2 with Betfair while a Leicester victory is currently 7/1 with the same bookmaker.

Predicted Score – 2-1 to City
