After a convincing opening day win against West Ham, Manchester City will not be too concerned that their first home game of the season is against Tottenham.

Spurs may have got the better of them in the Champions League, but in the Premier League last season, the Citizens accrued six points from their two meetings. Of course, it will be a tough game but manager Pep Guardiola has a team in good form and looking to make a statement.

Tottenham, meanwhile, were behind for a long period against newly-promoted Aston Villa in their first game before coming out 3-1 winners. Manager Mauricio Pochettino is still looking to bed in some of his new signings, and it could be a good time for City to face them.
