Manchester City V Tottenham – Match Preview And Predicted XI Plus Betting Odds

Guardiola

Manchester City will want to recover from their defeat to Tottenham in the Champions League by getting one over them in the Premier League tomorrow.

Spurs may take their eye off the ball for the league encounter following their exploits midweek and City will want to take advantage of that. Going above Liverpool, for a day at least, will surely be enough motivation to get over the Champions League exit.

Manager Pep Guardiola could still be without Oleksandr Zinchenko for the game. The converted fullback is closing in on a return from a hamstring problem but the Spurs match may come too early for him.

Claudio Bravo is the only other absentee with the goalkeeper making his way back from an Achilles injury.

Manchester City’s Predicted XI To Face Tottenham:

Ederson, Walker, Otamendi, Laporte, Mendy, Bernardo Silva, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Sterling, Aguero, Sane

For Tottenham, Harry Kane could be out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury, while Moussa Sissoko (groin), Serge Aurier (hamstring) and Harry Winks (groin) will also be missing.

Vincent Janssen (ankle) is unlikely to feature but Eric Dier could make his return from a hip injury. The England international has been out since early March.

Tottenham’s Predicted XI

Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Skipp, Wanyama, Alli, Eriksen, Moura, Son

At the bookies, City are the firm favourites, being 2/7 odds-on at Sky Bet. A draw is 11/2 with Unibet while a Spurs victory is 12/1 at BetVictor.

Predicted Score – 3-1 to City
