Manchester City V Watford – FA Cup Final Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

After wrapping up the Premier League title last weekend, Manchester City will head into the FA Cup final full of confidence that they can clinch a domestic treble.

They will be facing a Watford team who have gone off the boil in recent weeks, with the Hornets having capitulated 4-1 to West Ham in their final league fixture.

City manager Pep Guardiola has three injury concerns heading into the final. Fernandinho has been out of action with a knee injury since the 2-0 win against Manchester United.

The Brazilian is said to be touch and go in regards to whether he will make the showpiece event at Wembley. Benjamin Mendy (knee) and Claudio Bravo (Achilles) are both still out of contention.

Manchester City’s Predicted XI To Face Watford:

Ederson, Walker, Stones, Laporte, Zinchenko, De Bruyne, Gundogan, David Silva, Bernardo Silva, Aguero, Sterling

For Watford, they have just two players who will be missing for the game. Sebastian Prodl is unlikely to feature due to a knee problem while Domingos Quina is out for the season with a dislocated shoulder.

Jose Holebas will be available after having his red card against West Ham rescinded.

Watford’s Predicted XI:

Foster, Janmaat, Mariappa, Cathcart, Holebas, Hughes, Doucoure, Capoue, Pereyra, Deulofeu, Deeney

The bookies have made City heavy favourites to win the cup. They are currently 1/4 odds-on at Betfred with a draw after 90 minutes best priced at 6/1 with Bet365. A victory for Watford is 10/1 at Betfair.

Predicted Score – 2-1 to City
