Manchester City will have been buoyed by their comeback win over Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night but they will be facing a West Ham team this weekend who could afford to rest some of their players in their Europa League victory against Rapid Vienna yesterday.

That means David Moyes’ side may have the fresher legs when they face the Citizens at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

City boss Pep Guardiola also has a few injuries to worry about. Jack Grealish and Phil Foden are major doubts due to knocks while Kevin De Bruyne (virus), Ferran Torres (foot) and Liam Delap (ankle) are all sidelined.
