Manchester City V West Ham: Match Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Manchester City will have been buoyed by their comeback win over Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night but they will be facing a West Ham team this weekend who could afford to rest some of their players in their Europa League victory against Rapid Vienna yesterday.

That means David Moyes’ side may have the fresher legs when they face the Citizens at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

City boss Pep Guardiola also has a few injuries to worry about. Jack Grealish and Phil Foden are major doubts due to knocks while Kevin De Bruyne (virus), Ferran Torres (foot) and Liam Delap (ankle) are all sidelined.

Manchester City’s Predicted XI To Face West Ham:

Ederson, Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo, Gundogan, Rodri, Silva, Mahrez, Jesus, Sterling

The Hammers have only one fitness issue, with Angelo Ogbonna out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury he sustained against Liverpool earlier this month.

West Ham’s Predicted XI:

Fabianski, Coufal, Zouma, Dawson, Cresswell, Soucek, Fornals, Rice, Bowen, Antonio, Benrahma

The bookies have made City strong favourites with Betway pricing them at 30/100 odds-on to win. A draw is currently 5/1 with Betfred while a victory for the Irons is 10/1 at Sky Bet.

Predicted Score – 2-0 to City
