Manchester City vs Brighton: Team news and predicted starting XI

Everything you need to know ahead of tomorrow’s clash at The Etihad

Pep Guardiola will be hoping his side can maintain their uneaten start to the Premier League season when they welcome Brighton to The Etihad tomorrow afternoon.

And the Spaniard is expected to make a number of changes from the side that beat Oxford United in midweek in order to ensure that happens.

Sergio Aguero should return to lead the line, with Ilkay Gundogan, Ederson, Raheem Sterling and Aymeric Laporte among other key players who are expected to start.

Bernardo Silva is also likely to return to the starting line-up, while Riyad Mahrez may keep his place after scoring three times in the last two games.

Injuries

Kevin De Bruyne (lateral collateral ligament lesion), Claudio Bravo (achilles tendon rupture) and Elaquim Mangala (knee) remain out with long-term injuries. Benjamin Mendy has also spent the last few weeks out with a foot injury and is not expected to return in time, meaning Fabian Delph is likely to start at left-back.

Suspensions

City have no suspensions.
