Manchester City vs Wolves: Team news

Everything you need to know ahead of this weekend’s trip to Molineux

Manchester City take on Wolves in the early kick-off tomorrow afternoon as Pep Guardiola’s side look to extend their lead at the Premier League table.

The Spaniard chose to field two different systems in the wins over Arsenal and Huddersfield – opting to drop all of Leroy Sane, Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling against the latter.

His tactics proved dividends as City ran out 6-1 winners over the Terriers, however things may change this time around against Wolves.

The newly promoted side will pose a very different threat than Huddersfield, meaning players such as Sane and Co. could make a return to the starting line-up in favour of an extra midfielder, while Gabriel Jesus could also be dropped back to the bench despite his impressive display last week.

Injury news

City remain without Kevin De Bruyne, whose unfortunate knee injury looks set to keep him out until near late November, while both Danilo and Claudio Bravo are also recovering from ankle and achilles injuries respectively.

Fabian Delph may also miss out, with Pep Guardiola looking to ease the Englishman back into action given his previous struggles with muscle injuries.

Suspensions

There are no suspensions for City.
