Manchester City’s Transfer Stance Revealed As Four Clubs Make Enquiries About 50M Rated Defender

Manchester City have told potential suitors for defender Nathan Ake that he is “not for sale”, according to 90min.com.

The website claims the Premier League champions have received enquiries from four clubs who are all looking to sign the Dutchman when the transfer window reopens in January.

European giants Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan, Juventus and Bayern Munich have registered their interest in Ake but City have decided that the centre-half will be staying at the Etihad Stadium.

The 27-year-old was seemingly on the verge of joining Chelsea in the summer, but it is believed that the Blues weren’t willing to pay the player’s £50m asking price.

However, since then, City have had fitness issues with a number of their centre-backs. John Stones is still sidelined with a hamstring injury, while Aymeric Laporte has taken slightly longer than expected to recover from knee surgery.

Manager Pep Guardiola is said to be keen to keep all of his centre-halves at the club, with an intense fixture schedule both before and after the World Cup.
