Barcelona are interested in signing Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva, according to reports in the UK. The Catalan giants have been monitoring the Portuguese playmaker for some time and are said to have already made enquiries about the player.
However, it is also claimed that the Citizens have already knocked back the La Liga club’s advances, with the Manchester side unwilling to offload the 25-year-old.
Supporters on Twitter are glad that City have no interest in selling Bernardo:

The Portuguese international hasn’t been in as good form this campaign, having scored seven goals and contributed eight assists in 35 games, but he is still one of manager Pep Guardiola’s key players.
Bernardo has started 27 matches in all competitions for City, playing in a number of roles, including in central midfield and on both wings. His creativity makes him an invaluable member of the squad, and he could be even more important when David Silva departs in the summer.
