‘Never In A Million Years’ ‘Stop The Disrespect’ City Fans Not Happy About Latest Aguero Transfer Rumour

Everton have joined the long list of clubs who are interested in signing Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero on a free transfer, according to reports in the English media.

The Toffees are now one of six teams who are said to be keen on snapping up the 32-year-old, along with Chelsea, Tottenham, Leeds, Inter Milan and Barcelona.

A move to Goodison Park would likely hinge on Aguero reducing his £240,000 a week wage demands, with it being claimed that the Merseyside club are open to a sizeable signing-on fee to make up for the reduced salary. City fans on Twitter, though, don’t believe the Argentinian international will be interested anyway, and there are still some holding out hope that he will stay:

Aguero certainly looked impressive as he got on the scoresheet in the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace at the weekend, but his time at the Citizens is coming to a close. Most supporters will be hoping he moves abroad so he doesn’t have to face his former team, but there are no guarantees that will happen.
