One City Player Named Alongside Chelsea And Arsenal Stars In WhoScored’s Team Of The Week

Manchester City winger Phil Foden has been included in WhoScored.com‘s Premier League Team of the Week.

Despite the Citizens being on the losing side against Liverpool at the weekend, Foden was named after recording a rating of 7.54 for his display at Anfield.

Foden was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet, with his goal early in the second half being ruled out by VAR, and he was City’s most threatening player, along with Erling Haaland.

In terms of the rest of WhoScored‘s team, Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and midfielder Mason Mount were selected after they both played key roles in the Blues’ victory versus Aston Villa.

Newcastle fullback Kieran Trippier, Wolves’ Max Kilman, Arsenal defender Gabriel and Tottenham’s Ivan Perisic made up the back four. In midfield, Foden and Mount were joined by Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka and West Ham’s Declan Rice, whilst, up front, Spurs striker Harry Kane and Brentford’s Tony Toney were listed.
