Manchester City fans have jumped to praise Leroy Sane after his outstanding performance at The Emirates Thursday night.
The Germany international produced a dazzling display as Pep Guardiola’s side ran out 3-0 winners over the Gunners for the second time in the space of a week.
City beat Arsene Wenger’s men by the same scoreline on Sunday to take home the Carabao Cup.
And things were no different this time around at The Emirates.
Man of the Match Sane teed up Bernardo Silva for the opener after only 15 minutes, with the former AS Monaco star curling home a glorious effort from the edge of the Arsenal box.
Sane was at it again for City’s second just over ten minutes later – his driving run down the byline taking two defenders out of the game, before squaring it to Sergio Aguero who found David Silva – the Spaniard then showing a deft touch and finish in the box to make it 2-0 and register his second in the space of six days against the Gunners.

The game was over after 33 minutes when Sane got a well deserved goal, tapping home a cross from full-back Kyle Walker.
The result extends City’s lead at the top of the Premier League table to 16 sixteen points, and for Sane, it took his already impressive personal statistics for the season to 12 goals and 13 assists in all competitions.
Signed from FC Schalke in the summer of 2016 for a reported fee of £46 million, the German starlet has certainly proved he was worth the money …

The whole Sané/Giggs comparison is the worst thing out there, don’t flatter Ryan Giggs, he was never ever this good

Man City in the first half were incredible. The team goals were awesome. Sane out of this world.

Leroy Sané what a player. One of those players who would succeed across several generations and systems. Could see him bombing down the wing in the 90s, cutting inside in 08-13 and now acting as an outlet with 1v1 ability. Possession based or on the counter.

Wouldn’t want to single one player out tonight but I thought Ederson, Walker, Kompany, Otamendi, Danilo, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Silva, Bernado, Sane, Aguero were all brilliant tonight ??#futuresblue

Leroy Sane “Pep always tries with every player to give our all – 100% of what you have, You don't rest. In every training session and every game, you have to give the best. I have improved so much under Pep. Every player in our squad can tell you that” pic.twitter.com/sZwAZLSCk2
