Brazilian full-back Danilo is in-line for his first start of the season, while Fabian Delph is favoured to start on the opposing flank.

In-form Ilkay Gündoğan is likely to remain in the starting XI, however could be partnered by youngsters Phil Foden and Brahim Diaz – both of whom will be looking to use the opportunity to impress Pep Guardiola.

Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Riyad Mahrez are likely to form City’s attacking triumvirate.
