Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says he doesn’t know when Vincent Kompany will return from injury.
The Belgian international has been out with a muscular problem since the Liverpool game and when asked about the City skipper on Friday, Pep did not have any good news to offer simply saying he had “no idea” when he would be back.
With Guardiola already having raised questions about Kompany getting a new contract beyond the end of the season, some supporters think this could be the end of the road for the legend:

It’s probably too soon to be writing the obituaries. The 32-year-old could return to fitness in a few weeks and stay fit for the rest of the season, we just don’t know.
However, if previous injuries are anything to go by, Kompany is likely set for a longer layoff. After struggling to reach 20 games in each of the last five seasons, it does appear the Belgian’s time at the top level is drawing to a close.
