Manchester City do have a first option to re-sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, according to reports in the UK.
The England international left the Citizens during the summer of 2017 in a deal reportedly worth £8million. However, it seems the club could buy him back in the future if Dortmund decides to sell up.
Sancho spent two years in City’s academy but did not make a first-team appearance for the club. Some fans on Twitter are hoping the 18-year-old does return one day:
Please get him back!!!

No, he didn’t want to stay and he failed to turn up for training, because we wanted him to commit to city and then take him on tour. I am sorry but he didn’t want to stay and prove himself at city with the best talent in the world

The winger has been in superb form for Dortmund so far this season, having scored five goals and provided eight assists in 17 appearances.
Sancho’s performances were rewarded with a call-up to England’s senior side by manager Gareth Southgate. He made his debut in the Nations League against Croatia in a 0-0 draw last month.
He then made his first start against the USA last week and came off the bench for a third cap in the 2-1 comeback victory versus the Croatians on Sunday.
