Premier League Make Key Decision On Whether To Allow Away Fans Into Stadiums

The Premier League have announced that away supporters will not be permitted for the last two league fixtures of the campaign.

The UK government are expected to loosen restrictions on mass gatherings which will enable Premier League stadiums to hold up to 10,000 people from May 17th.

It was recently confirmed that the penultimate round of fixtures would be moved to May 18th to allow every team in the league to host at least one match in front of their own fans before the end of the season.

However, it was previously believed that up to 500 away supporters could be allowed into the grounds, but due to logistical reasons, this has now been ruled out.

Manchester City won’t be playing at home in their penultimate fixture, as they have an away match against Brighton, but they will host Everton on the final day so supporters will be present to see the team lift the title.
