Report Reveals What Teammates Have Been Saying About Aguero’s Future At City

Some of Sergio Aguero’s teammates believe the Manchester City legend’s time at the Etihad could be up in the summer, after Pep Guardiola’s decision to bench him in recent games, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The 32-year-old was an unused substitute for the 2-0 win over Everton in the FA Cup at the weekend; a match most had assumed the Argentine would start in.

However, after recovering from illness and knee problems at the beginning of February, Aguero has only been named in the eleven twice in all competitions.

It was originally assumed that Guardiola was easing the player back into things after a series of fitness issues, but it appears teammates are now questioning the Spaniard’s intentions.

With Aguero’s contract set to expire in the summer, and with the player having been linked with Barcelona and Chelsea, there is now a growing possibility that the striker could leave City after a decade of service.
