Roy Keane Names Two City Stars As He Lists His TOP THREE Players In The Premier League

Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane has picked Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland in his top three Premier League players.

The City pair have been in outstanding form at the start of the season, and Keane believes they are undoubtedly the best in the country at the moment, along with Cristiano Ronaldo:

“De Bruyne, obviously I played in midfield and what he does week in, week out consistently is fantastic. We’ve seen what Haaland has done already but obviously he’s new to the Premiership – amazing to see what he can achieve in the next few years, particularly playing with a really good team like City and obviously working with Pep [Guardiola]. You have to get Ronaldo credit with last night [Sunday], scoring 700 goals in his career – amazing.”

Not many will be disputing Keane’s decision to name De Bruyne and Haaland in his top three, but plenty will be questioning his selection of Ronaldo, who has only started one Premier League game for United this campaign.

There are a whole host of alternatives from other teams to choose from. Arsenal are top of the table so one or two of their players could feel hard done by. Spurs have Harry Kane, Chelsea also have some excellent footballers like Thiago Silva and, even though they may not be in the best form currently, Liverpool have plenty of stars who could be entered into the debate.
