Real Madrid are planning a £70m bid plus Gareth Bale for Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling, according to Sky Sports News.
The Citizens are not believed to be interested in signing Bale, with the Welsh international having been mostly linked with a switch to rivals Manchester United, and fans on Twitter do not believe the story is very credible:
That’s just rude & disrespectful?

Scouts from Real are said to be flying in to see Sterling in action for England later this month, and they will then make a final decision over whether to make a move for the 24-year-old.
Sterling has previously mentioned that he would be open to playing in La Liga, but City are unlikely to want to let him go, especially with Leroy Sane’s future still unresolved.
Real may, though, still test the waters as they look to strengthen their attacking options with Bale reportedly keen on leaving the Bernabeu at the earliest opportunity.
