Manchester City defender Nathan Ake is expected to complete his move to Chelsea very soon, according to reports in England.
There was still some doubt about the Dutch international’s future after the defender turned up for pre-season training but supporters on Twitter are now resigned to losing Ake:

It is believed that City could raise between £45m and £50m from Ake’s sale, which is a healthy profit, considering the fact that the 27-year-old hasn’t exactly set the world alight since arriving at the Etihad in 2020.
Attention will quickly turn to who the Premier League champions will sign as his replacement. RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol has been tipped as the favourite but RB Leipzig are very reluctant to sell the young Croatian.
Sevilla’s Jules Kounde and Villarreal’s Pau Torres have been suggested as potential alternatives but, at this stage, it isn’t believed that City have made an approach for another centre-back.
