‘Should Be Worth 250+mil Minimum’ ‘Txiki Needs To Be Sacked’ City Fans Shocked As Club Consider Selling 3 Players For Modest Sum

Manchester City would be open to selling Riyad Mahrez, Raheem Sterling and Aymeric Laporte for a total of £100m this summer, according to reports in England.

The Citizens are keen to raise funds to sign both Jack Grealish and Harry Kane, and it is believed the three players all face the chopping block. Multiple sources now say that Sterling and Laporte want to leave, while Mahrez is keen on staying but could be offloaded with just two years left on his contract.

Supporters on Twitter believe the trio are worth at least twice what has been quoted, and some can’t understand why they are being sold:

It appears manager Pep Guardiola wants to freshen up his squad to ensure there is enough desire to win more trophies. The three players mentioned are not the only names who will be allowed to leave either, with Bernardo Silva, Gabriel Jesus and Benjamin Mendy also said to be available for transfer.

In terms of who could be interested in the six names, Sterling and Mahrez have already been linked with Arsenal, while Laporte and Jesus are being eyed by Barcelona and Juventus respectively.
