Sky Sports Pundit Is Predicting A Crazy Scoreline When City Face Norwich

Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas is predicting a high scoring game when Manchester City come up against Norwich City at Carrow Road tomorrow evening.

The Canaries are well-known for their expansive attacking play and he is expecting the home side to breach the Citizens’ defence, especially with the Premier League champions having no Aymeric Laporte to call upon.

Nicholas believes City will come out victorious in a 6-2 win, but he thinks Norwich should be commended for their open attacking football even if they do lose heavily:

“It is not an embarrassment losing to Manchester City but they need to go at it from a positive aspect, which is how you test yourself. Kevin de Bruyne was amazing in Glasgow, as was Raheem Sterling over the international break, which is why I will go with this scoreline.”

Manager Pep Guardiola praised Graham Potter and his Brighton side after they were beaten 4-0 in City’s last game, and he will likely be just as complimentary about Canaries boss Daniel Farke.

Still, you would expect City, as Nicholas points out, to have too much for the newly-promoted side. The front three are in great form and the midfield has been creating goals for fun so an emphatic win should be on the cards.
