Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson hit a 70-yard pass to create Raheem Sterling’s last minute winner against Schalke on Wednesday night.
It was the Brazilian’s second assist of the season, leading Kyle Walker to tweet that he is worried the keeper will end up creating more goals than him this season:
When he tells you he’ll end up with more assists than you…and now you’re starting to get worried pic.twitter.com/SiJT7L1Pd5

Considering Ederson has more assists than the likes of Liverpool’s Sadio Mane, Naby Keita and United’s Fred, it demonstrates the sheer talent the keeper has.
With the ball at his feet, the 25-year-old has few, if any, rivals among his fellow goalkeepers. Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer may run him close but other than the German, the shot-stopper’s talent as a footballer is incomparable.
Whether we’ll see a third assist from him in the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea on Sunday, we shall see.
