Manchester City have not agreed to sell Bernardo Silva to Barcelona for a fee below €80m (£68m), according to Goal reporter Jonathan Smith.
Reports in Spain had suggested that a deal was in place for the Portuguese international to make the switch to the Camp Nou but Smith has described those claims as “nonsense”:
Reports that Barca have an agreement with City for Bernardo Silva are "nonsense"

Supporters on Twitter are not quite sure what to make about the conflicting reports about Silva, but they are hoping that City hold out for a sizeable figure if Barca do come calling before the transfer window closes:

There has been a lot of talk about Silva being interested in a move to Spain, but any deal will depend on Barcelona’s ability to raise the requisite funds.
It is widely assumed that a move for Silva will be made once they sell Frenkie de Jong but, despite interest from Chelsea and Manchester United, the Dutchman has still not left Spain.
