Swansea V Manchester City – FA Cup Team News, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Manchester City will head into the FA Cup quarter-final against Swansea on a massive high after their 7-0 demolition of Schalke in midweek.

Manager Pep Guardiola may be tempted to rotate his squad for the cup tie, but with an international break coming up, he may opt against it.

On the injury front, City still have Fernandinho out of action. The Brazilian is expected to return from a muscular problem to face Fulham at the end of the month.

Kevin De Bruyne will also be missing due to a hamstring injury, while Benjamin Mendy (knee) and Claudio Bravo (Achilles) remain on the sidelines.

Swansea will be without Leroy Fer (Achilles) and ex-City star Wilfried Bony (knee) with both players having been ruled out for the rest of the season. They will be hoping top scorer Oli McBurnie will be fit for the weekend after the Scottish international missed the Swans’ last two games with injury.

At the bookies, City are heavy favourites to progress to the semi-finals. Unibet have them at 2/13 to go through, with a draw after 90 minutes 8/1 at Betfair. An unlikely win for Swansea is currently 22/1 with BetVictor.

Manchester City’s Predicted XI To Face Swansea:

Ederson, Danilo, Stones, Otamendi, Zinchenko, Foden, Gundogan, Bernardo Silva, Sterling, Gabriel Jesus, Sane

Swansea’s Predicted XI:

Nordfeldt, Roberts, van der Hoorn, Carter-Vickers, Naughton, Routledge, Grimes, Celina, Byers, James, McBurnie

Predicted Score – 4-0 to City
