Manchester City have offered €105m (£87.6m) for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, according to reports in the German media.
The figure includes both the release clause and the agent fee, but it doesn’t take into account the Norwegian’s wages, which could potentially earn him at least £30m a year.
Supporters on Twitter are hoping the proposal will be enough to get the deal for Haaland over the line, otherwise, they feel that City should consider moving on to other options:
That’s not bad at all
Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Hmmm interesting. We shouldn’t sign him if they reject that

It really is a lot of money, but the Citizens do desperately need a new number nine and Haaland is undoubtedly the best currently available.
Many teams, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona have fallen by the wayside, and it is thought that the two remaining clubs still in contention are City and Real Madrid.
Haaland is expected to make a decision on his future at some point this month and we shall have to wait and see whether he chooses a move to the Etihad.
