The Dutch Under 18 International has been at Manchester City for over two years now and he began training with the first-team squad at the end of last season after impressing in the Under 23s.
Leroy Sane’s departure for Bayern Munich may see Braaf handed some opportunities by manager Pep Guardiola this campaign, although the arrival of Ferran Torres from Valencia may scupper those plans.
