3) Stan Kroenke (£6.35bn) – Arsenal

Kroenke

The American first purchased stakes in the Gunners almost 14 years ago but he became the majority shareholder in 2011. His reign has been controversial, with many fans feeling that the London club has been treading water since his arrival as owner.

Kroenke did, however, invest heavily in the transfer market during the summer and it is hoped that it is a sign of a renewed commitment to Arsenal.
