Manchester City are close to signing West Brom midfielder Morgan Rogers, according to reports in the UK.
The 16-year-old has been likened to Dele Alli and will cost the Citizens approximately £4m.
Fans on Twitter are happy to see the club investing in young talent, although some have questioned the fee being paid:
Everyone questioning the fee just wait for him to play, the kid is special

Rogers has already made his senior debut, coming on as a substitute in the 3-1 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup back in February. He also faced City in the FA Youth Cup in April with the Baggies losing 4-2 in the semi-finals.
He was expected to be on the plane as West Brom’s first team headed out for pre-season training in Spain but he was not on the flight out, suggesting a move to the Etihad Stadium is getting close.
If Rogers does join City as expected, he will go straight into the club’s academy setup. The teenager will most likely play for the Under 18s initially before being promoted to the Under 23s.
